Mills Basis A+B is a concentrated two-part base nutrient from Dutch brand Mills Nutrients: Basis A (NPK 3-0-1) carries calcium and chelated red iron, Basis B (NPK 0-4-3) carries magnesium and trace elements. Used in equal amounts at 1ml to 4ml per litre from first leaves to harvest, it comes in Hard Water and Soft Water versions in 1L, 5L, 10L and 20L sizes for soil, coco and hydro.

Two Parts. One Purpose.
Basis A brings nitrogen, calcium and premium chelated red iron for strong cell walls and rich green leaves. Basis B brings phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and a complex mix of trace elements, including molybdenum.
Kept apart in the bottle so they stay stable, they meet in your watering can to deliver complete nutrition for the whole cycle.

Hard Water Or Soft? You Choose.
British tap water varies wildly from one town to the next.
Choose Hard Water if yours is naturally mineral-rich. Choose Soft Water if you’re in a soft water area or use RO water. It’s enriched with extra calcium and magnesium, so you may not need a separate CalMag.

Basis A+B lets plants absorb what they need across a wide pH range, so the odd wobble won’t derail your season.
Tomatoes, chillies, salad leaves or houseplants. Soil, coco or hydro. It simply gets on with the job.
Add Part A, stir, then add the same amount of Part B. Never mix the concentrates together.
Then put the kettle on and watch them grow.
